Riley Sutter, Everett Silvertips, Western Hockey League: Sutter, son of longtime NHLer Ron Sutter, scored the game-winner and assisted on two more goals in the Silvertips’ 6-3 win over the Swift Current Broncos Friday night in Game 5 of the Ed Chynoweth Cup Finals. He was a +4 and the First Star of the game.
Michael Talbot, Minot Minotauros, North American Hockey League: Talbot scored a pair in Minot’s Sunday 5-4 overtime win over the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. The victory put the Minotauros in the Robertson Cup National Championship Game on Monday night against the Shreveport Mudbugs.
Jax Murray, Fairbanks Ice Dogs, NAHL: Murray was involved in 60 percent of his team’s scoring, netting a pair of goals and assisting on another in the Ice Dogs’ 5-4 win on Friday night over Minot. He finished the game +4.
Jasper Weatherby, Wenatchee Wild, British Columbia Hockey League: Weatherby, who has made this list multiple times this season, finished with two goals and three assists in two weekend Royal Bank Cup games. He leads the tournament with five points.
Will Calverley, Chilliwack Chiefs, BCHL: Calverley had an all-world game Sunday evening, scoring all four of his team’s goals in the Chiefs’ 4-3 win over the Ottawa Jr. Senators. His fourth goal won the game in overtime.
