Kootenay Ice 2017-2018 Graduating Players Canadian Junior Hockey News

After missing the playoffs for a third straight season the Kootenay Ice have 3 players graduating due to league age restrictions. Alex Baer has joined the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL who are affiliated with the Iowa Wild and the Minnesota Wild. In 8 games he has 3 goals and 3 assists.

Colton Kroeker is moving on due to age limit restrictions. He was made team captain in November after former team captain Cale Fleury was traded to the Regina Pats.In 68 games with the Ice this season he had 15 goals and 46 assists.

Colton Veloso has joined the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL. The Icemen are the ECHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose and the Winnipeg Jets. In four games with the Icemen he has 0 goals and 0 assists. On a personal note Colton is actually a native of Winnipeg having been born there.
