DAILY DISH: MONDAY MASH Canadian Junior Hockey News

Remember a few weeks ago when I said that the USA Central Hockey League was brain dead? Yea, that happened and more this past week.

Thank God for the North American Hockey League to help keep us focused on the actual playing of the game. Winners of seventeen straight games, I’m thinking the Tomahawks could just put the cruise control on until the end of the season. It’s just too bad that’s when the lack of regular season competition will end up biting them in the …

NORTH AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE
The Central Division has moved from being competitive to an absolute blender of intrigue. The Fifth place Wilderness are just six points behind division leading Austin and Minot. Aberdeen is one-point behind the leaders with Bizzie just point-behind the Wings. Poor Brookings, no wonder then can’t get a break.

Will Johnstown set the NAHL record for earliest clinched division title? Can any team in the East actually beat the Tomahawks?

The Midwest Division has tightened up a bit. The Magicians have a five-point lead over Janesville and Fairbanks while Springfield appears to be in a fight with Kenai River for that #4 spot.

The South Division’s Amarillo Bulls have wins in eight of the last ten games and have used that result to stretch their lead to seven-points. Only eight points separate currently second-place Topeka from last place Corpus Christi.

Speaking of Texas …

BILLY D’s USA CENTRAL HOCKEY LEAGUE
I could write a 10,000-word essay regarding the past week of action in Billy D’s folly. Instead, I’m thinking its just best to let Cilla Hagle tell her story and give the law enforcement authorities in Texas room to conduct their criminal investigation. We’ll just move on to the cheers and jeers and have our fun there.

CHEERS AND JEERS
-Jeers to me for falling for the Billy D con job.

-Cheers to all ten of the Heisler Group players from the USACHL that have secured opportunities in other leagues.

-Jeers to Force Booster Club VP Abby Morris for doing and saying anything possible to support Bill Davidson’s epic fraud against the game.

-Cheers to new Texas writer Cilla Hagle for her decision to try and document the fraud orchestrated by Bill Davisdon.

-Jeers to Laredo Morning Times hack Zach Davis for publishing a huge pile of USACHL poop AFTER getting an email from me disputing the league’s claims against me. Davis refused to respond to my email or call. He was often referred to as “my buddy” by Davidson. We can let our imagination take it from there.

-Cheers to former Force housing coordinator Mary Albertson for here tireless effort to dig out the truth and help her displaced players move on with their hockey adventures.
