Preliminary Round Set for 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships Canadian Junior Hockey News

The dates for the first games of the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship has been set. December 26th will see four games played with the Czech Republic playing Switzerland and Canada playing Denmark at Rogers Arena. Meanwhile the United States will play Slovakia while Sweden will play Finland at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria.

The Czech Republic vs Switzerland will play at 1:00PM Pacific Standard Time while Canada will play Denmark at 5:00PM. Over in Victoria the United States vs Slovakia game will play at 3:30PM while the Finland vs Sweden game will occur at 7:30PM. The preliminary round will end on December 31st and the playoff round begins on January 2nd on 2019.

The Relegation games will occur between January 2nd and January 5th at Rogers Arena. The Quarter finals will occur on January 2nd. The Semifinals will occur on January 4th and the Bronze and Gold Medal games will occur on January 5th. The last games for the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre will occur on January 2nd while the rest of the games will occur at Rogers Arena.
