Third Stars
Jesse Keicher, Atlanta Capitals, North American 3 Hockey League: Jesse opened the scoring for him team Sunday in its 5-1 win over College Station Spirit. The 2000-born forward finished a plus-1 for the game.

Peyton Kelly, Thompson Blazers, British Columbia Major/Minor Midget League: Peyton, who was a Third Star last week, kept the momentum going with a goal and an assist Sunday as his Blazers beat the Kootenay Ice 10-0. Kelly, a 2002 forward, has racked up 11 goals and 17 assists for the season.

Gunner Moore, Atlanta Capitals, NA3HL: Moore assisted on the Capitals’ go-ahead goal in the second period. It was his 26th helper of the season, good enough to keep the 2001 defenseman in the top 5 scorers on his team, and tied for third in plus-minus at plus-16.

Second Stars
Kevin Lake, Louisiana Drillers, NA3HL: Lake went 2-0 over the weekend, giving up only five goals to the Mid Cities Jr. Stars. The 1998 netminder stopped 26 of 29 shots in Friday’s win, then 27 of 29 a day later. He’s posted solid numbers in five games for the Drillers this season: 5-0, a 1.97 goals-against average, and a .939 save percentage.

Jacob Vautour, Kamloops Storm, Kootenay International Junior Hockey League: Jacob recorded a goal and an assist in two weekend games. His goal Saturday was his team’s only score in a 3-1 loss to the 100 Mile House Wranglers. The 2001 forward now has 15 points in 43 games, good for seventh on the Storm.

First Star
Seth Cotler, Florida Jr. Blades, United States Premier Hockey League-Elite: The 2002-born center had a better weekend than the one before in which he was a Second Star. In two games, he scored a pair of goals and added three assists. His third-period goal on Saturday tied the game, which the Jr. Blades eventually won 7-6 over the DME Swamp Rabbits. Cotler, who has a point in six straight games, is fourth in team scoring -- eight goals and 18 assists in 40 games.
