Players' Log: Day Four in Alaska - Canadian Junior Hockey News

This morning our billet Dad pulled up the Supplementary Draft for the North American Hockey League to see who was going be protected by the teams they were drafted by. It was kind of neat hearing about some of the people protected by teams and where they came from and some of their back round from where they played the previous year.

After that was over my roommate, our billet Dad, and I chatted for a little bit before making lunch. After lunch we had a couple of hours to lay low and have a little free time before our practice at 4:30.

The practice started off with a few high tempo drills before having a little scrimmage at the end. Since there were too many defensemen on my team so I had to play forward for the scrimmage. Although I am very unfamiliar with playing forward a lot, I managed to pick up two assists. After another good day in Alaska, I went to bed early tonight to make sure I was ready to go for the early skate tomorrow morning.
