Players' Log: Day 32 in Alaska - Canadian Junior Hockey News

On Wednesday, I woke up today feeling a little homesick for some reason. I tried to push on with my day by doing the daily things I usually do.

At workout today I felt a little better today with my injury, so I got to do a little bit more of the exercises than I have been doing this past week.

After workout today we stopped at the hockey shop to get my roommate's skates sharpened, and to pick up some tape. After getting back to the house my roommate and I left to go to the store to get some weekly supplies.

By the time we got back to the house. It was 4:00 PM and time to have a pre-game meal before our Junior Elite league game. While I ate, we watched the second game of the Stanley Cup Final between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Montreal Canadians. By the time the second period was about over we left to the rink to go to our game.

Today‚Äôs game was kind of a struggle for our team as my roommate and I was still playing injured. We lost another game today in a blowout.

After the game, our billet dad made us some chili dogs. After eating we chatted for a little bit before heading downstairs and icing my back. After a while, I got tired and went to sleep.
